The Government tries to reach the data fastly
to the GST officers, The government is working on a method to quickly provide a
report to GST officers on a real-time basis for those vehicles which are
migrating without e-way bills, to help prevent stuck trucks at toll plazas and
check GST evasion. The report says that the government wants to get faster data
of those vehicles run without any e-way bills. This type of system reduces some
long work processes. It's very helpful for the government. The tax officers
would also give review reports on recognizing e-way bill EWB with no
transportation of goods as it would support officials recognizing cases of
circular trading.
The Government presents some new guidelines
about the e-way bills. The Government does the compulsory for all those
vehicles to transport any goods from one place to another. Its estimated value
is greater than or equal to 50,000 Rs those people must have to pay it.
Following the regime of Goods and Services
Tax (GST), the e-way bills had been made compulsory for the inter-state shipment
of the goods and services that are valued over Rs. 50,000 from April of 2018.
To isolate the tax evaders, the reports of the e-way bill would be recycled.
According to the report, the government is currently working on any type of
Real-Time system that handles the real-time situation and sends Data and
analysis reports as fast as to the GST officers.
Implementing this type of system reduces the
number of tax evaders and it also helps the government to stop the people who
misuse the e-way bill system.
A government says the E-way bill system
completed three years and in this three years there are 180 crore e-way bills
are generated till the date, But only 7 crore bills are verified by the tax
officers for that government now try to provide directly the real-time data to
the tax officers. This process helps to verify the bills fastly.
According to the government analysis, the top
e-way bills are generated from the sectors of textiles, electricals machinery,
machinery and mechanical appliances, iron and steel, and automobile sectors.
When the vehicle crosses the RFID
(radio-frequency identification), Tag reader, on the road, all details of those
vehicles are filled into the device and get uploaded on the government portal
as well as sent to the tax officers. The Tax revenue officers use the data to
verify the supplies that are made by a person that is GST registration .
Also, the real-time data of the vehicles that
are running without the e-ways bills would be provided to the GST officers for
each and every specific toll plaza. So it would make possible and easy for the
officers to get and fetch the vehicles that are not holding the e-way bill. The
analyzed reports of the EWB with no movement of the assets would be given for
the assistance of the officers in known cases of the e-way bill.
Conclusion:-
The Government coming with a new idea for the
e-way bill system, This system will help the GST officers to get the real-time
data of those vehicles that do not contain any e-way bill. This system is
specifically implemented in some toll-plaza.
