Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman
Nidhi is a principal sector program implemented under the Indian Government. It
contributes to the monetary support to our Indian farmers and families.
Initially, the Telangana government executed the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi program
in the name of the Rythu Bandhu program. In which gave an appropriate
amount to the right farmer. After that, in the 2019 Interim Union Budget of our
country, Piyush Goyal declared projects across the country.
On 24th February 2019, our honorable
prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the PM KISAN SAMMAN NIDHI YOJANA
program. This government initiative administers all underprivileged and
borderline farmers with a monetary foundation of rs 6000 every year in three instalments.
The Government will transfer straight to farmers' bank accounts. The Government
has estimated Rs 75000 crore of total yearly disbursement for the program. The
Union Government will finance this initiative.
Indian Government is
carrying out PRADHAN MANTRI KISAN SAMMAN NIDHI YOJANA as an important category
project. It was initiated to increase the income sources of poor and
underprivileged farmers.
With the help of PM Kisan
Samman, Nidhi Yojana (PM KISAN) Government aims to complement the monetary
demand of underprivileged farmers. Because of this program, they will get
assistance in acquiring several inputs to ensure the good health of crops and
proper yields, equal to the expected income of farms in every crop cycle of our
country. This program will ensure the protection of farmers from moneylender's
money-sucking traps. Along with that, it will help them pay their expenditure
and make sure perpetuation of farming hustle.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana targets to brighten up the existence of underprivileged Indian
farmers. By giving reliable financial assistance in 3 chapters of instalments
every year. Pm kisan yojana aims to solve farmer problems such as migration of
farmers and build crop growth.
The Government initiated
this program, keeping in view the idea of improving farmer's income. It will
give financial assistance to every farmer of the entire country and empower
them to pay their expenditure associated with farming and related work plus
their household needs.
This particular project is
estimated to augment the scope of PM Kisan to almost 14.5 crore needy farmers.
Along with that, we are targeting almost two crores more Indian farmers, which
will come with rs.80,217.50 crores of expenditure invested by the Indian
Government.
Eligibility of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Those underprivileged
farmers who own less than 2 hectares of land. This section of poor farmers
estimates about 83 percent of total farming families. They will get advantages
from the program, except some debarred classes belonging to rich family
incomes.
Indian government program
was providing financial support to all poor and underprivileged families in our
nation, owning tillable land of about two hectares. Afterward, increased its
scope from 1st June 2019 to envelop all farming fraternity in our nation
regardless of the land size.
There is a set of people who
have been debarred from this program, such as rich farmers, income- taxpayers,
professionals like doctor, engineer, etc., including senior citizen who is
getting a minimum of Rs 10,000 each month. under this program, special rules
have been created for our north-eastern citizens which include rights related
to land ownership are subject to community-based, forest dwellers. in
Jharkhand, where Government have still not updated land records and land
transfer restrictions debarred class of people.

The Telangana government
elaborated this scheme and executed it as the Rythu Bandhu program, which gave
an appropriate amount to farmers for financial support. It received awards from
across the globe together with the World bank. Scholars and economists
appreciated this direct financial support model in comparison to waiving off
farm loans. Then Indian Government, observing its influence, decided to launch
it in the entire country. After that, Piyush Goyal, our honorable minister,
declared the 2019 Interim union budget of our country on 1st February 2019.
From 2018 to 2019, the
central Government allocated rs. 20000 crore for this program. Then revised it
again for the advantage of almost two crore extra farmers. It augmented the
program's scope to almost 14.5 crore receiver. Rs 87,217.50 crores was assigned
by the Central Government. Then our honorable minister Narendra Modi
inaugurated the program in Uttar Pradesh Gorakhpur on 24th February after
handed over that first chapter of the instalment to 1 crore farmer.
Indian Government took another initiative of
awarding different state for top performance under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. These award criteria included data correction, solving farmer
problems, and proper physical verification to solve the problem.
