What did Government of India recently issue?
Government
of India recently notified about the information regarding new eligibility as
well as guidelines set aside aiming Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, in
short known as MSME. All sorts of business need to get access to GST
registration as well as file on Income Tax return before or on 31st
March, 2021 for sustaining the MSME Certificate’s validity. Government’s new
guidelines that are revised has placed MSME by the name of Udyam registration.
What are the documents required for Udyam Registration?
Udyam
registration or we can say MSME Registration requires some of the mandatory
documents to be presented. A certain criteria has been set for categorizing
enterprises into micro, small and medium enterprises and also there is criteria
for Udyam Portal registration.
The
documents required are listed below:
- Pan Card must be presented by the applicant
- Aadhar Card must be presented by the candidate
- The applicant should provide his/her complete postal address
along with his/her district and PIN
- Bank Account Details of the applicant must be presented.
What are the new guidelines set for MSME Certificate’s validation?
The
new guidelines that have been set aside for MSME Certificate’s validation are
listed below:
- Every business holder needs to get access of GST registration
before 31st March, 2021.
- In order to sustain MSME registration’s validity, the company
needs to have access to Income Tax return filing on or before 31st
March, 2021
- MSME certificate requires presenting PAN and GSTIN
compulsorily
- Udyam Registration demands presenting Aadhar number as well
- More than one Udyam Registration can’t be filed by any
company
- The companies that have been already registered before the
date of 30th June, 2020, will be offered validity only till 31st
March, 2021.
- The companies having access to Udyam Registration should have
their information updated online in Udyam Registration Portal, included ITR and
GST Return details for previous financial year.
- Any company if fails in updating the information relevant
within the specified period in online Udyam Registration portal, shall be
providing the enterprise liable for its status’s suspension.
