Main Objectives of the Right India Movement

To take preventative measures the Government of India has launched the Eat Right India movement in 2019. The organization or business should follow the below principles mentioned below meet the requirements of the given movement:-

1. The food business operators should register for the FSSAI registration and should have a valid license in order to legalize the business or if the business will not be legal according to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. 

2. The food business operators also should follow the FSSAI principles and rules and provide food safety and quality to the common nearby people and take the responsibility of the food quality and safety.
The Food business operator should follow the rules and should have a Food License. Hence for that, it is important for the food business to apply for the FSSAI Registration in India.

Effectiveness of the Eat Right India Movement by the FSSAI:-

The Eat Right India Movement is based upon the three pillars and that is:-

1. Eat Healthily:- Healthy food should be consumed to avoid diseases and infections. If contaminated or spoiled food is consumed, then it can cause various hazardous diseases. Most of the diseases initiate from the food consumed.

2. Eat Safe:- If the food is consumed safely without any contamination of the food then most of the diseases can be avoided and cannot affect the consumer.

3. Eat Sustainable:- If the good food is consumed by the consumer then he can avoid most of the dangerous diseases. 

The Important Measures under the Movement that should be followed by the Food business Operator

1. The FSSAI authority of India has defined a limit of the polar compounds and that is only 25%. It is defined to avoid hazardous impacts of the reused cooking oil.

2. The FSSAI has also bought regulations for the oils that were used in the foods due to the Mission of Trans-fat free India. It has also defined the limits and only 2% of the Trans-fat should be used to produce the food.

3. The FSSAI is promoting to use bamboo as an alternative to the plastic products and also has banned plastic. As the plastic does not degrade fast as it creates pollution and has become a big problem it has been banned by the FSSAI authority.
