Small Enterprise Corporation (NSIC) is an Indian government enterprise under

What is NSIC?
The National
Corporation for Small and Medium Enterprises (NSIC Full Form) supports and
operates for the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). NSIC
works under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for
the promotion of these industries.
NSIC works
with its extensive network of branch offices and technical centers. Its services
include financial assistance, basic training and incubation NSIC provides
integrated support services under finance, technology, marketing and support
services. The corporation also focuses on supply-side equipment and marketing
on exports.
Single Register:
Government of India is one of the largest buyers of commodities. NSIC registers small businesses (SMEs) under the Single Point of Registration (SPRS) scheme to participate in public procurement. Devices registered under the single registration scheme may benefit from the 2012 Small and Small Business Public Procurement Policy (MSP) Directive issued by the Government of India and the Ministry of Small and Medium Businesses.

- A bid MSE that lists prices within the L1 + 15% price range
in the bid can also provide up to a 25% portion of the requirement and will
lower the price to the L1 price if L1 is not an MSEs.
- Each central department/institution/PSU must set an annual
target of at least 25% of the total annual purchases of any product or service
produced or provided by the MSEs.
- Of MSE's annual 25% procurement requirements, 4% are units
belonging to certain castes/schedule tribes and 3% are units owned by women
entrepreneurs. 358 items are reserved
for exclusive purchase in the SSI sector.
Qualification Criteria NSIC Registration:
- All micro and small businesses with EM Part II (optional)/Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) are eligible for NSIC enrollment.
- Startups, small businesses that have already started commercial production but have not been in existence for less than one year. In these circumstances, these small businesses may be issued with a temporary registration certificate valid for one year.
- Traders cannot register for this scheme.
Single Enrollment Period of NSIC Registration
- Small businesses and registration certificates issued to small businesses under the 2003 Single Enrollment Scheme (Amendment) are valid for two years.
- The temporary registration certificate is valid for one year.

Registration process of NSIC Registration
- Submit application with Fee and Documentation.
- The origin officer checks the documents and reports any defects
- If there are any defects, correct them and issue a confirmation
- Then, the origin officer sends the application to the following. Inspection Body
- After verification, the inspection body makes a report.
- After that the certificate is issued.
